Monica Wentz, Manager of Artistic Planning for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Leigh Levine, General Manager of the Grant Park Music Festival, and John Ryan, Manager of Artistic Planning at the Music of the Baroque, will talk about the challenges for three institutional models; subscription, festival, and specialized (early music).

Coming from a business background Cheryl stepped into her role at the ESO during challenging financial times and major changes in Board governance and leadership. This discussion will outline some of the “real world” strategies that were used by the ESO staff and Board to rebuild trust with donors and sponsors – including the teamwork philosophy that has helped get the major gifts and corporate sponsorship programs back on track.
